SMI was founded in 1993 as an R&D company with expertise in the design and development of aerospace control and health monitoring systems. Since 2005, SMI has reinvented itself as a remote monitoring software and service company with the successful licensing of its iTrend® software to Boeing Commercial Airplanes in its Airplane Health Management (AHM) solution.
